A Día de los Muertos Writing Ceremony

On Día de los Muertos, we set the table for those we love. We light the candles, lay out the cempasúchil, and place their photos where they can find their way home to us.

This year, join us in offering something more: our words.

Writing from the Ancestors is a sacred and celebratory evening of remembrance through story. We'll gather in circle, call in the Directions, meditate, and open the page to the ones who came before us. Through guided writing, we'll write to our beloved ancestors, listen for what they still have to say, and carry forward their stories.

You don't need to call yourself a writer. Their stories and memories live in your body. We'll join in sacred remembering.

All are welcome. Bring a photo of a loved one (person or pet!) and come ready to honor, celebrate, and write.
